June 25th saw us hitch up the van and drive out on another adventure.
It is so good to be travelling again, just a short drive the first day and a one nighter up near Ravenshoe, at Archer Ck.
Then across to Croydon, we met up with friends, Sally and Stewie, travelling in the opposite direction, but had an awesome few days catching up.
As for Croydon, what a gem, photos won't do it justice, but such a small town with so much history. So many buildings have been lovingly restored and you can spend hours wandering through them all reading and looking at the collections in each.
The town has done such a remarkable job.
We were lucky enough to be here through their Heritage Festival Week, and Les was fortunate enough to win a Croydon Fishing Shirt. (He'll look the part - anyone that knows Les knows fishing is not his forte).
So after a few days here, remembering how to wind down, we are heading off again. Not 100% sure as to where but stay tuned for next Sunday's update to find out.
